Along with seeing inpatient consults, I take call for 2 local hospitals and facilitate transfers to and from the facility.

Clinical experience may be limited but may be ideal for first semester Psychiatric Mental Health NP students needing to be introduced to performing initial psychiatric assessments and being introduced to psychotropic medications.
