Action Alert: HB 486 Scheduled for Senate Health & Welfare Committee

*We need as many NPs as possible to come to the Capitol on Wednesday, May 13, 2015*

We especially need clinic owners to be there and available to testify about how this bill affects your practice.

HB486 – Rep. Robert Johnson's bill (attached) is scheduled to be heard, for the first time, in the Senate Health and Welfare Committee on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 in Hainkel Room at 9:00 a.m. 

If you ARE able to attend, we will meet in the rotunda of the State Capitol at 8:00 am.  Wear your lab coats and dress is professional.

If you are NOT able to attend, here's what you can do to help:

• If your State Senator is on the Health & Welfare committee, please contact your legislator in support of HB486 via phone OR via the LANP Advocacy Action Center as soon as possible.  If you have already done so, we thank you for your support!  You don't need to submit more than once in the action center.
• If your Senator is NOT on the Health & Welfare commmittee, please contact your legislator to ask for their communication with the committee members to get this bill passed and for their vote on the floor if the bill passes committee.
