Southeastern Louisiana University (SLU) is currently accepting admission packets for the post-MSN Doctor of Nursing (DNP) Program.
The DNP is a terminal professional degree that focuses on the clinical aspects of nursing rather than academic research. Candidates for the post-MSN DNP Program hold a MSN as an advanced practice nurse or nurse executive. Full and part-time study options are available. All classes are online. A synthesis project in the student's area of interest is required, which incorporates the DNP course work and represents an evidence-based intervention, evaluation, and dissemination of results.
