Happy July!

The LANP health policy team is working diligently for Louisiana NPs.  Currently the core health policy team meets weekly as we work to build coalition members, foster legislative outreach, marketing/media communications plan, etc. We know all to well that the work doesn't stop just because the legislative session ended.

There are several things we need from you!!

1.  We need your input!! Complete the Health Policy/Access to Care Survey.  Click here to complete survey

2.  Make sure that you are signed up for Voter's Voice: Voter's Voice Registration

3.  Make plans to visit with your Representative and your Senator in your regions while they are home for the summer.  They need to know your name, who you             are,  and how you are serving the people in their district -- your community! There is no way that this health policy team can do it by ourselves -- we need you!!

            "If you are waiting for the perfect time, you will be waiting forever. Take action, make a move, do something about it." 

4.  Commit to a monthly donation to PAC. Our PAC makes every dollar count! It's easy -- Just "Select your donation amount, make recurring"

5.  If you are a clinic owner (or know one), please email me at kathy@apea.com. We would like to feature how you are improving access to care on Social Media. 

A grassroots movement cannot happen without "You the People!". Let's work now to remove restrictions in 2026!
