Hello Louisiana NPs!
I am coming to you with 2 messages this morning.
First, is the participation in the 2022 AANP National NP Workforce Survey. Links were sent to specific Louisiana NPs to participate in this survey. If you got a link, please take the time to complete the survey! Your Participation is Important!
This survey collects vital information about NP practice and will contribute to the body of knowledge about the patient populations NPs serve, compensation and benefits, the conditions NPs treat most frequently and NP prescribing patterns. We need this information to use towards removing restrictions to NP practice. Any questions or concerns can be directed to research@aanp.org.
Second --- The LANP Fall Conference is fast approaching! I am so looking forward to seeing you all in person! And besides the amazing line up of sessions there are a few other things that I am specifically excited about.
1. The Political Leadership School. It frustrates me to no end that we are not as "feared" as the opposition in Baton Rouge. That's why it doesn't matter how much data and proof we bring, it seems like our message falls on deaf ears. I want to know how to change that! The Political Leadership School is on Thursday, October 6. You do not have to be enrolled for the whole conference to attend the training. It is also open to the general public if you know of someone wishing to attend.
2. Party with PAC!! Johnny Rocket and the Moondogs, plus pajamas, plus my friends and colleagues. That's a no-brainer! We always have so much fun! It is just good to get together with friends and colleagues, dance the night away, and laugh! Again, it is open to everyone! Grab your friends, significant other, office mates -- throw on your comfy pajamas and join us!
3. SPA experience --- ummmm, YES PLEASE!
