Nurses Week! May 6-12, 2020

 Nurses Week is quickly approaching, May 6th - 12th! This year is extra special because May 12th is Florence Nightingale’s 200th Birthday!
We have decided to initiate a social media campaign and we need your help! The theme is “Nursing is….”.

We would like for you to:

• Make a poster or write on a paper what Nursing means or is to you (USE OUR TEMPLATE)
• Take a selfie and then post it to social media with the hashtags of:  #LANP2020YEAROFTHENURSE, #LANPNURSESWEEK2020, #ESSENTIALFOR200YEARS and tag us on Facebook (regional or state page) or Instagram (@louisiananursepractitioners ). Tik Tok is also acceptable and encouraged. BE CREATIVE!!!!
• Please encourage all nurses and nursing students you know to join in our campaign!!! If you have family/friends who want to post their ideas, thoughts about nurses that is great too!!!  Testimonies are welcome!

We can’t wait to see what you guys come up with!
