Edna Treuting

It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Edna Treuting, FNP. Dr. Treuting passed away on Monday, November 13, 2017. Edna was instrumental in developing the first nurse practitioner curriculum in Louisiana at Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. She was also active in organizing an informal group of nurse practitioners that later became established into the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners.
