Nurse Practitioners and Advocates to Be Honored at National AANP Conference

Nurse practitioners, nurse practitioner advocates, and recipients of the prestigious American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) 2016 State Award for Excellence, will be honored at an awards ceremony and reception during the AANP 2016 National Conference June 21-26, 2016, in San Antonio, TX. Kathy H. Baldridge, DNP, FNP-BC of Pineville, LA will be among the recipients honored.
The State Award for Nurse Practitioner Excellence, founded in 1991, recognizes a nurse practitioner (NP) in a state who demonstrates excellence in practice.
Kathy graduated from LSU-A with an Associate Degree in Nursing in 1993, Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Northwestern State University (2006) and Master's Degree in Nursing with a concentration as a Family Nurse Practitioner (2009). In 2013, she received her Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree from University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, AL. She has served on the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners Board of Directors for 6 years and currently works for Advanced Practice Education Associates in Scott, LA and Incarnate Word Community Clinic in Alexandria, LA She attends the Pentecostals of Alexandria and coordinates the Faith and Wellness Ministry there.
