Health Policy Update: SB 187 Scheduled for House Floor

SB 187 is scheduled to be heard on the House Floor Wednesday, May 25 at 2:00 pm. We need as many NPs at the Capitol as possible!
In the meantime, we ask that you please continue to call and email ALL Representatives in support of SB 187.
The Representatives' offices continue to be overwhelmed with messages. They are only able to keep a count of the number of messages for and against. We need MORE calls and emails from NPs and patients to continue over the weekend and into next week.
It is critical that you:
1. Come to the Capitol and meet with legislators on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. Contact BJ Haynes at 225-235-0617 to setup a time and meeting location. You will be talking to legislators along with our lobbyists and other NPs.
2. Call ALL Representatives and ask for their support! See the attached list of Representatives phone numbers above. Email addresses can be found here.
3. Get Patients Involved! Click Here
