Health Policy Update: Physicians are Flooding the Phone Lines

Please continue to call and email ALL Representatives in support of SB 187. The Representatives' offices are so overwhelmed with messages that they are now only able to keep a count of the number of messages for and against. We need more calls and emails from NPs!
In addition, we are trying a more creative approach--video. This is an example of a video done by Buzz Jeansonne, our Health Policy Chair. We will be adding this to a collage of videos from other NPs across the state and sending it to the Representatives.
We are encouraging you to tell your own story in video too. Tell the legislators why they should support SB 187. We ask that you keep it short, focused and positive. Then email your video to Buzz at buzzjeasonne@gmail.com.
In addition, it is critical that you continue to:
1. Come to the Capitol and meet with legislators. Contact BJ Haynes at 225-235-0617 to setup a time and meeting location. You will be talking to legislators along with our lobbyists and other NPs.
2. Call ALL Representatives and ask for their support! See the attached list of Representatives above.
