Health Policy Update: SB 187 - Contact your Legislators!

We have a few NPs who are planning to meet at the Capitol today with our lobbyists to talk to legislators about supporting SB 187.  We are hoping to have a few more next week.

If you are not able to be in Baton Rouge to meet with legislators, this is how you can help:

1. Call your legislator's office today and schedule a meeting for tomorrow, Friday, May 13. Typically, legislators return to their districts on Friday and are more likely able to meet with constituents in their district. Find your legislators contact information here.
   
   
2. If you are unable to meet with a legislator in-person, you can still call and ask for their support! The SB187 fact sheet is attached above for your reference.
