Health Policy Update: We Need NPs at the Capitol!

While we were successful today in passing SB 187 through the House Health & Welfare Committee, the vote was very close (7-6).

Representative Dustin Miller and Representative Tom Willmott are requesting that any NPs who are available--to come to the Capitol to help lobby the bill as soon as tomorrow!

Our lobbyists need NPs to help speak with legislators to support the bill.  We are extremely limited on time to reach each of the legislators in the House.  Any time you can spend at the Capitol over the next 4 working days or so will be appreciated.  Please contact BJ Haynes at 225-235-0617 to coordinate a time to meet at the Capitol.
