SB 187 is scheduled to be heard in the House Health & Welfare Committee on Wednesday, May 4, 2016.  

This is what you can do:

  1. Get motivated! Read this page now -SB 187 Opposition
  2. Call your Representatives! Tell them about nurse practitioners and ask them to support SB187. Find your Representative Here. The SB187 fact sheet is attached above for your reference.
  3. Get Patients Involved!
  4. Communicate with us. Let us know if you have been able to connect with your Representative so we can communicate this with our lobbyists. Email us at office@lanp.org
  5. Plan to attend the committee hearing in House Health & Welfare on Wednesday, May 4 at 9 am at the Capitol. NP presence at the Capitol is impactful--it really makes a difference.  Bring your lab coats.
