Health Policy Alert: SB 187 Scheduled in Health & Welfare on NP Day

SB 187 – Sen. Regina Barrow's bill (attached) is scheduled to be heard in the Senate Health and Welfare Committee on Wednesday, March 30, 2016--on NP Day at the Legislature.  Specific time and location of the committee hearing are forthcoming.

We need as many NPs as possible to come to the Capitol on Wednesday, March 30, 2016!

If you ARE able to attend, we will meet in the rotunda of the State Capitol.  Wear your lab coats and dress is professional.

If you are NOT able to attend, here's what you can do to help:

If your State Senator is on the Health & Welfare committee, please contact your legislator in support of SB 187 via phone OR via the LANP Advocacy Action Center as soon as possible.

If you have already done so, we thank you for your support! You don't need to submit more than once via the action center.

If your Senator is NOT on the Health & Welfare commmittee, please contact your legislator to ask for their communication with the committee members to get this bill passed and for their vote on the floor if the bill passes committee.
