Louisiana Pain Care Seeking FT NP in Monroe Area

Louisiana Pain Care (www.lapaincare.com) is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner.

The successful candidate will provide the plan of care along with fellowship trained and board certified interventional pain management physicians.

Louisiana Family Nurse Practitioner Certified is preferred.

Training will be provided for our EMR, www.Nextgen.com.

Key duties are the care of lumbar, cervical, and thoracic pain patients, including but not limited to the:

 

• Supervision in concert with the physicians the treatment of acute and chronic pain patients during clinic hours (averages 36 hours per week) Monday through Thursday, 8:00am – 5:00pm, and Friday, 8:00am - 12:00pm;
• Preparation and dictation of pain management plan for each patient based on documented medical necessity;
• Assisting physicians at Green Clinic as well as consultations and visitations at St Francis Medical Center and Glenwood Regional Hospital on a rotational basis; and,
• Continuous development of knowledge base on the most up to date methods of pain solutions.
