Position Description

Position Summary:

As a Nurse Practitioner at theClinics, you are invited to work with a team of professionals dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to the patients whom we serve with competency, sensitivity, and confidentiality. 

Requirements:

Individual who is a graduate of an accredited APRN program, who has successfully passed certifying examination, and who is approved by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse.  Must be competent and able to perform medical services and treatment of patients, providing professional patient-centered nursing care within a minor acute care setting, coordinating care planning with other disciplines, and providing direct and indirect patient care. The Nurse Practitioner must be able to triage safely, rapidly and accurately, patients who enter the clinic setting while exhibiting the initiative, flexibility, and professionalism indicative of an APRN. Can effectively communicate with the on-call physician and other healthcare professionals about assessments including the patient’s status, symptomatology, response to treatment, and the result of diagnostic studies.

Qualifications:

  • Current Advances Practice Registered Nurse in the state of Louisiana.
  • Must have prescriptive authority.
